Yahoo’s Twitter Meme Opens Public Registrations

Yahoo Meme is still in beta but a recent silent change makes it possible to anyone to register an account without invites. That’s a big change to before and it remains to be seen if the developers have opened registrations just for a short time or permanently.

Yahoo Meme offers many advantages over Twitter like the aforementioned ones. The only thing that it currently lacks is popularity. Yahoo! Meme allows you options like posting photos, videos etc, with ease and flexibility of posting Twitter-like updates.

A month ago, Yahoo! launched a micro-blogging service of their own called as Yahoo! Meme. But initially, at that time, it was an invite-only service, But a couple of days ago, without any official word, Yahoo! has opened Meme for public and now anyone can register and try the Twitter-Tumblr mashup by Yahoo!
