How to remove RAVMON Virus from your PC ?
Show hidden files and folders not working ?
Computer shuts down automatically ?

If these things are happening to your Computer/PC, reason is that it has got infected by a virus named ” RAVMON

So, what can this Virus normally do ?

Disables task manager , Registry Editor and Command prompt .
Right click menu shows some Chinese scripts as shown in the figure.
Computer shutdown automatically and slogs a lot.
Folder Options disappear
Show hidden files and folders Option won’t work.

Here’s solution for you guys, we have following methods to fix it

Method 1 :-

1- Click Start –> Run –> regsvr32 /i browseui.dll –> enter

A confirmation message will appear like given below

2- Click Start –> Run –> regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

Wait for the confirmation and click OK.

Method 2 :-

Click on Start menu, then click Run (or Windows key + R).
Type cmd, a command prompt window (DOS) will open.
Type regsvr32 /i browseui.dll then press the Enter key, wait for a confirmation window.
Type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll then press the Enter key, wait for a confirmation window.
Close the command prompt.

Method 3 :-

1. Click “Start” -> “Run…” (or press Windows key + R)
2. Type “regedit” and click “Ok”.
3. Find the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Advanced\FolderHidden\SHOWALL
4. Look at the “CheckedValue” key… This should be a DWORD key. If it isn’t, delete the key.
5. Create a new key called “CheckedValue” as a DWORD (hexadecimal) with a value of 1.
6. The “Show hidden files & folders” check box should now work normally.

Counter-Strike is a first-person shooter in which players join either the terrorist or counter-terrorist team (or become a spectator). Each team attempts to complete their mission objective and/or eliminate the opposing team. Each round starts with the two teams spawning simultaneously, usually at opposite ends of the map from each other. A player can choose to play as one of eight different default character models (four for each side, although Counter-Strike: Condition Zero added two extra models, bringing the total to ten). Players are generally given a few seconds before the round begins (known as “freeze time”) to prepare and buy equipment, during which they cannot attack or walk/move (a player can still take damage, having the player drop from a certain height during freeze time was the only way somebody could control the players starting “HP”). They can return to the buy area within a set amount of time to buy more equipment (some custom maps included neutral “buy zones” that could be used by both teams). Once the round has ended, surviving players retain their equipment for use in the next round; players who were killed begin the next round with the basic default starting equipment.

Standard monetary bonuses are awarded for winning a round, losing a round, killing an enemy, being the first to instruct a hostage to follow, rescuing a hostage or planting the bomb.

How to create Counter Strike 1.6 public server for free?

You can create the server for free but if you want to join it you have to buy the Game CS1.6 . Any one who is having this original game can join this server
1. Download this HLDS tool according to ur OS
Windows http://storefront.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.exe
Linux http://storefront.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.bin
2. Install the update tool in x:\HLServer.
3. Open a terminal (Start>Run>cmd).
4. Use directory traversal and go to your HLServer directory (cd \HLServer).
5. Type in “HldsUpdateTool” (or just “h” then cycle tab through the files until you got the exe) or ./steam for linux users then a space then enter -command update -game . Replace with the game you want to host, be it “cstrike”, “dmc”, “dod”, “ricochet”, “tfc”, “valve”, “Counter-Strike Source”, or “hl2mp”. Enter -dir x:\hlserver afterwards and then press enter and let it rest. A correct example would be: HldsUpdateTool -command update -game cstrike -dir c:\hlserver
6. If it worked so far, it should now be installing the files needed to run the server.
7. It downloads around 320MB.
8. After the installation is finished your Half life dedicated server is ready to run.

Now go to the installed folder x:\hlserver . Ok what you have to do is just execute hlds.exe. Select the game as Counter-Strike. Give name to your server. Select the map. Select the network as Internet if u want it to be online or Lan. Set the max no of players according to your Internet connection. Set the UDP port as 27016. RCON password anything don’t leave blank. Check Secure(valve Anti-cheat). Click start server. A window opens, go to console and type “sv_lan 0″ without quotes.

Now your server is ready. If it didnt work Unblock hlds.exe from firewall and add an exception to UDP port 27016.

Sometimes the ports in modem or router is blocked u have to unblock it i.e. portforwarding. To learn how to do that check this link http://www.portforward.com/..

After portforwarding your server will work..

To make it pirated i.e. to let all the non steam players to play in your server apply the nosteam patch .. http://www.tutorialecstrike.com/patch_server.html

Then start the server.

How to Install Nexus One Software Updates

The Nexus One is a smartphone from Google that uses the Android open source mobile operating system, As o February 2, 2010 announced an over-the air update for the Nexus One which will be rolled out to all users by the end of the week.It adds pinch-to-zoom functionality to the web browser, gallery, and maps applications. In addition it adds Google Goggles natively and fixes many of the 3G connectivity issues reported by T Mobile users.

These are simple, step by step procedure using which you can update your Nexus One software manually.
NOTE: The instructions below are only for the stock (unmodified bootloader, recovery etc) Nexus One. This procedure is NOT for rooted devices.

Download the Nexus One Android 2.1 software update 1 (15MB in size) on your PC.
Rename the downloaded .zip file to ‘update.zip‘.

Connect and mount your Nexus One SD card on your computer using the USB cable.
Now copy/paste the update.zip file to your SD card. Make sure the file is in the SD card root. It should not be in a directory.
Then turn off your phone.
Now to get in the bootloader mode, turn on the phone while pressing and holding the trackball and power button.
Follow the navigation instructions on the screen. Select BOOTLOADER and then go to RECOVERY.
When in recovery, you will see an Android bot with no text on the screen. Hold the power button and press the volume up key once. Recovery menu should be visible now.
Using the trackball, select the second option “apply sdcard:update.zip“. The installation procedure should start now.
After the installation completes, reboot the phone by selecting “reboot system now” from the recovery menu. It might look as if stuck again on the Android bot, but it will soon reboot.
